A short set of rules that keep Claw Careers honest, free and within the Bar Council of India’s rules on advocates. They apply to every candidate, hirer and member of the Claw team.
Rule 36 of the Bar Council of India Rules says an advocate shall not solicit work or advertise. Claw Careers is a place to be hired, not a place to be advertised, so it is built around that rule.

Rules for candidates
Enter your enrolment details exactly as on the State Bar Council roll. The desk checks them.

Do not use your portfolio to seek clients. Briefs come only through Briefs from Claw.
Submit to Well Argued only orders in matters you worked on, with the right to share them.
Rules for hirers
Post only real roles, with honest pay and location.
Never ask a candidate for a fee, deposit or paid training.
Use candidates’ details only to hire for the roles you post.
Decline candidates kindly. The decline templates exist for that.
Do not publish, rank or rate advocates you review.
Reports and what we do
Anyone can report an opening, a message or a portfolio. The Claw desk reviews every report and may hide the content, warn the person, or close the account. We tell the person who reported it what we did.
